Oh, fizzy, your photography is /amazing/ The pictures make me happy. My best friend is a photographer, and she's actually working with another one right now. Oh, fizzy, your photography is /amazing/ The pictures make me happy. thank you (: and, wow, that flood looks intense. last summer or something i got stranded by flooding in some godforsaken suburb while driving to get my uniform, and even then the floods were definitely not as bad as that. |

Aha, the town they were taken in was Manville, which is surrounded by tons of small rivers. So, what happened was, it rained for 2-3 days straight I believe-and I mean RAINED. It was /pouring/. And, all the rivers flooded. Everywhere in central Jersey. My town didn't get too bad, because we're higher up, but getting in and out of Manville was impossible-my dad took a 2 hour detour to come get me-and then we couldn't get on the main highway. It was a /mess/.
A few towns had to get evacuated. There were even Facebook groups about it. xDDD

summertimeee.  ("weekend shirt.")  (i'm the asian chick with dyed hair btw. next to me are my best friend abby and my friend nora. we made trashbag dresses because it rained.)  (crowdsurfing  )  (some guy let me sit on his shoulders while i looked for abby in the crowd. she took a picture of me.)  (swimming in lake michigan, before i dyed my hair. i look super tan.) anybody else wanna put up summer photos? |
